Bernard J. Tyson Award Ceremonies

A key goal for the Tyson award program is to share and disseminate lessons learned about the efforts undertaken within exemplary health care equity improvement and disparity reduction initiatives to inspire other health care organizations to take action to improve health care disparities. By sharing details regarding these efforts, including methodologies, data use, and tools, it is our hope that organizations can adapt and adopt similar approaches and improvement work within their facilities. All organizations selected as recipients of the Tyson Award Program have presented about their initiatives and have been featured during online award ceremonies.
